Home page for The Design Group

Task: Develop a website for Elizabethtown, KY-based hair salon The Design Group. Client requested a price list for services, a preview of the store’s product offerings, a photo gallery of the stylists, and a map to the shop.

Process: The owner of The Design Group had been my stylist for several years before I made the decision to go back to college, so he was the natural first choice to approach for my Web Development Practicum to finish my associate’s degree. Our first site was based on the e107 platform, but when it came time to redesign the site a few years later, I changed the platform to WordPress.

This site is now maintained and updated by one of the salon’s employees.
